Wife. Musician. Artist. DIY'er. Oh, and awesome friend. Meet Brittany Alvis.  Frontwoman (with husband) of the Merry Way (https://www.facebook.com/themerryway), and an all around classic beauty.  I couldn't wait to get her behind the camera. Enjoy!

I loved taking the engagement pictures of these two, and the wedding was even better.  It was sweet, touching, fun, and gorgeous.  All the best things you could ask for.  I am so happy they let me be a part of the special day. Congratulations you two!

You may recognize little Ella from an earlier blog post - I'll tell ya, this girl knows how to work the camera and she is only 1!!  Her cousin is following in her footsteps as well...what a cute kid.  I had to resist kissing his cheeks the whole shoot. I love this whole family.  I am proud to call them friends, and I look forward to watching their little ones grow up!

Michelle, Micah and I go back to the days of Resource Corp. of America and it's nice little office in Ballard above the Starbucks (which took half of my paycheck each week). When you first meet these two you think nice, sweet, maybe a little quiet, but then  you realize that your whole conversation has been dripping with sarcasm and you realize these are true friends.  They are hilarious and I love that I got to take their wedding pictures after waiting 7 years to do so.  'Bout time guys. Just kidding. But I'm not kidding about how much I love these two, and how fun it was to shoot their wedding.

Ok, so I'll admit that I am a little late putting this on my blog, but better late then never right? I have known Tasha since I was about 6 or 7 years old.  It's crazy at my age to be able to say that I have known someone for 20 years, but it's true. We have had so much fun and I hold many memories dear to my heart.  And here is my little sister in love and getting married in April 2012!  What's even better is my own wedding is following the week after.   Growing up is crazy and amazing.

Krysten - daughter of Robbie Knievel, granddaughter to the daredevil himself, Evel Knievel.  Crazy runs through her blood.  Pair that with the police detective from Chicago, Jeff.  What you get is two of my most favorite people. I got the opportunity to take some pictures for them during the latest Evel Kneivel Days in Butte Montanta after making a quick stop at the cemetery to pay tribute to grandpa.  I loved watching these two interact with each other. Sit back and enjoy a couple truly in love.

Here is what I know:  When women come together, big things can happen. This event started with a phone call from a girl who just happened to have some extra dresses laying around, and wanted to sell them with the proceeds going to the YWCA.  From what was meant to be a living room/cocktail party, to what it became - an event that inspired hundreds of local women to come together with one cause - out with the old, all to help other women in need. I was very glad to be a part of this event and I look forward to more in the future!

I finally got myself together and created a blog.  I had put it off for so long, barely having time to update all my other pages, but it is now time to GET WITH IT!  And so I shall.  I hope to be updating this as often as I can, and I hope this is a start to some BIG things!  Thanks for keeping up with me! Cheers! xoxo  Janell
