Congratulations you two!

I love this whole family.  I am proud to call them friends, and I look forward to watching their little ones grow up!

When you first meet these two you think nice, sweet, maybe a little quiet, but then  you realize that your whole conversation has been dripping with sarcasm and you realize these are true friends.  They are hilarious and I love that I got to take their wedding pictures after waiting 7 years to do so.  ’Bout time guys.

Just kidding.

But I’m not kidding about how much I love these two, and how fun it was to shoot their wedding.

I have known Tasha since I was about 6 or 7 years old.  It’s crazy at my age to be able to say that I have known someone for 20 years, but it’s true.

We have had so much fun and I hold many memories dear to my heart.  And here is my little sister in love and getting married in April 2012!  What’s even better is my own wedding is following the week after.

Growing up is crazy and amazing.

Krysten – daughter of Robbie Knievel, granddaughter to the daredevil himself, Evel Knievel.  Crazy runs through her blood.  Pair that with the police detective from Chicago, Jeff.  What you get is two of my most favorite people.

I got the opportunity to take some pictures for them during the latest Evel Kneivel Days in Butte Montanta after making a quick stop at the cemetery to pay tribute to grandpa.  I loved watching these two interact with each other.

Sit back and enjoy a couple truly in love.

This event started with a phone call from a girl who just happened to have some extra dresses laying around, and wanted to sell them with the proceeds going to the YWCA.  From what was meant to be a living room/cocktail party, to what it became – an event that inspired hundreds of local women to come together with one cause – out with the old, all to help other women in need.

I was very glad to be a part of this event and I look forward to more in the future!

I am very excited for the video and recording to come out.  You all should support our local young talent and buy one!

This is the second guitar “recital” that I have been to of his.  I say “recital” because typically when I think of that word, I think of dresses and Dockers, a piano, and someones living room.  This is so not the case with Dustin.  Held in Tacoma’s Champions Centre’s youth building, the stadium seating and stage lighting would make you think you were here to see a major band.

Speaking of band, Dustin himself and a crew of amazing musicians join each student as back-up for their performance.  With songs that range from John Mayer’s “Half of my heart” with up and coming pop star Ashly, to Guns and Roses “Sweet Child of Mine” with Coleman, you know you will hear what no other “recital” will be playing.  Needless to say, the production is definitely worth the ticket in.  (Especially when my younger brother – the rockstar in the black leather pants-is playing a Led Zepplin Medley)

I am so lucky to have been asked by Dustin to be a part of this show with so many other talented people, and so here is part one of two….

When I first met Carina at Humanity Salons, she was halfway through pregnancy #2.  Her and her husband, Nick, had been looking into adoption, and (long story short…and hopefully accurate)…the adoption at first was taking longer than expected, and then they ended up getting pregnant.  They stopped pursuing the adoption for a little bit, but then BAM, got a call when she was 6 or 7 months pregnant from the adoption agency saying there was a baby boy about to be born, and would they be interested?  They flew out and picked up baby Eddie, and then 2 months later, out comes George.

I thought that I had it hard having my kids 10 months apart, but 2 months…good Lord.  She is the definition of a super mom.  In fact, you can follow her super mom blog here:

Hanging with her and Nick, along with Lute, Eddie, and George, was so incredibly fun and hilarious!  Reigning in 3 boys for pictures proved to be a challenge, but the ones I got were worth all the trouble.  They are SO adorable, as you will see.  WARNING:  Maybe too many pictures…but I couldn’t decide…
